Prob our toughest test yet as Clifton vets. Played a very organised high standard team this week but the boys put a proper shift in and put it in to the end! Good spirits in the dressing room before and after the game. It was even a tough day for the first aid kit, as if it wasn't Duncan bathing in deepheat ready to smash into any player within 10 yards of him it was Reevsey using every strapping going in hope to keep his body together!!

Good news Rick kept his nuts in this week due to his newer tighter pants!! On the pitch it was proper graft as we didn't see much of the ball,Bullard swiftly stuck Chris in his pocket and began to spray the ball abouthe pitch. Hoops had to retire early after a tough 50/50 so it saw the introduction of Eddie.

We went in 2-0 down at halftime which wasn't bad after Reevsey decided to try a few tricks on the edge of our box in hope to impress his family and 30 mates on the sideline!! Second half saw us conceed early but soon got back in it after a decent cross from Andy good knock down by Stu then a excellent finish from Scott! We should some great discipline and attitude to hold off waves of attack and even Champs managed his trademark face plant to the amusement of the bumper 50 crowd!!

Did ourselves proud and hopefully learnt a bit ready for our first league game next week.
